Weekend Services ("we", "us", "the app") is a hyperlocal app that connects workers, employers, and people looking for local services in India. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and your choices. By using the app you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Phone number — used to sign you in (one-time password) and to let other users contact you for jobs/services.
• Profile details you provide — name, role (worker / employer / seeker), skills or business type, a short description, and an optional profile photo.
• Approximate location — the area/city you choose or your device location (only when you tap "use my location"), used to show nearby workers and jobs. We store an approximate point, not continuous tracking.
• Usage information — basic in-app events (e.g. sign-up, search, contact made) to understand how the app is used and improve it.
• Device push token — to send you notifications (e.g. job alerts).

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and sign you in.
• To match workers, employers, and seekers nearby and let them contact each other.
• To send relevant notifications (job alerts, application updates, reminders).
• To understand usage and improve the service.
• To keep the platform safe (e.g. reviewing reports of misuse).

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Limited information is shared only to operate the app:

• Other users — your name, role, area/city, and phone number are visible to other users so they can contact you for work. Do not enter information you don't want shared.
• Service providers — a secure cloud platform (for authentication, database, hosting, push notifications and analytics), an SMS provider (to send your one-time login code), and a mapping service (to look up place names). These providers process data only to provide their service to us.
• Legal — where required by law or to protect users and the platform.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Profile → Delete account), which permanently removes your profile, your jobs and applications, your notifications, and your login. If you need help, contact us at the address below and we will delete your data.

What we keep after deletion, and why. Deleting your account does not delete complaints other people have made about you, and it does not lift a ban. To keep workers and customers safe, we retain a limited safety record:

• Reports made about you by other users, including the name and phone number recorded on the report at the time it was filed, so a complaint can still be investigated.
• A minimal deletion record — a one-way scrambled version of your phone number, your role, the date, and how many complaints were open. It holds no name, photo or contact details, and exists only so we can recognise a number that previously left the platform.
• Your phone number, if your account was blocked for fraud, cheating someone out of payment, or unsafe behaviour — so the block cannot be avoided by deleting the account and signing up again.

This is the narrow exception permitted for safety and fraud prevention. We keep these records for as long as needed to keep the platform safe. If you believe a block or a complaint against you is a mistake, contact us at the address below and we will review it.

Security

Data is stored securely with our cloud service provider and protected by access rules. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

The app is intended for adults (18+) seeking or offering work. It is not directed at children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
